By November I had been on Match.com for a couple of months with minimal success. On the evening of November 6th, I planned to resign before going to bed. Just three hours before I would have done that, I got a message from Joe.
I had not been responding to the last few emails I got, but something about his words caught my attention. I had a special feeling about this man and responded to him. Right away, we knew we had something very special. We fell in love before we ever laid eyes on each other.
A few weeks later, we met for the weekend in Nashville, TN, which is halfway between my home in Alabama and his in Kentucky. We couldn't take our eyes off each other and felt as if we had been together forever.
There are 400 miles between us, but we have managed to be together every weekend except three since we met.
Thanks to Match.com, I have found my soulmate, my very best friend, and soon to be my husband. We will be married in December. |
